Competing against the big Box stores isn’t easy for a local business. Brands like Home Depot, Lowes, Best Buy have more buying power and brand recognition. A local business can go upscale way beyond what they can do though. The Home Depot website, for instance, does not convey “personal service” in any way. But this local Long Beach California business does though. It’s obvious from above the fold on the first page of this website that the are real people that are invested in the community and are going to bend over backwards to help you.
I was brought on this project long after the website was made. That wasn’t my “portion” here. My area of excellence for this project was content writing and coding special offer pages, rebate pages and writing engaging content on miscellaneous pages like the brand pages.
